Mercedes Rhoden-Feely
Associate Attorney
Professional Experience: Mercedes Rhoden-Feely graduated magna cum lauda Willamette University College of Law in 2011. Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook as an associate, Mercedes spent a summer externing for Crook County Counsel and worked on all aspects of municipal law. She then worked under Professor Vollmar at Willamette University's legal clinic as an estate planner. While in law school, Mercedes also studied will and trust drafting, and federal income, corporate, estate and gift taxes. In 2011, Mercedes received the Tax Executives Institute Scholarship.

Professional Activities: During law school, Mercedes was a regular writer for Willamette Law Online, Oregon Courts Service. She is a new member of the Multnomah County Bar, as well as the Estate Planning and Tax sections of the Oregon State Bar.
Community Involvement: Mercedes has volunteered for Marion County Democrats. She also volunteered as a law clerk for Crook County Counsel and Willamette University's legal clinic. She is a member of OPB's sustaining circle.
Interests: Mercedes enjoys traveling abroad, and met her husband in Belfast, Ireland. She returns to Ireland every year with her husband and children to visit family and friends.
Mercedes enjoys the company of her family and friends, and feels privileged to be along side her two sons as they discover the world. She also enjoys the great outdoors, snowboarding, music and reading.
