Professional Experience: Prior to law school Fred worked for Recreational Equipment Incorporated, www.rei.com. During law school he continued to work part-time with REI, as well as clerking for the Oregon Department of Justice’s Family Section. After law school, Fred clerked for Judge Herndon in Clackamas County Circuit Court.

Education:

• Sewickley Academy Pittsburgh, PA. Graduated, 1991
• Colgate University Hamilton, NY. B.A. in Geology and History.
• Lewis & Clark Law School Portland, OR. Juris Doctorate.

Professional Activities: Fred is an active member of the Oregon State Bar, and is the acting director of Central Oregon Matrimonial Attorneys (COMA).

Community Involvement: Fred has played on and helped manage an amateur men’s soccer team in the Greater Portland Soccer District since moving to Oregon in 1996.  This fall he was a volunteer coach for his son’s soccer team in the Tualatin Soccer Club’s kindergarten league.

Interests: Fred is an avid sports fan.  He also enjoys outdoor activities including skiing, cycling, and hiking.  But most of his free time is spent with his family as he re-experiences the joys of childhood vicariously through his kids.
